New Year New Sickness

So 2018 hasn’t exactly got off to a great start. I woke up New Years Day with a stinking cold. After being completely fine over the Christmas break, and not even being around anyone who was ill, it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I managed to get into work yesterday dosed up with medicine and lemsips, but I woke up this morning feeling like absolute death on legs. Having not managed to get to sleep until gone 3 AM last night, I figured it was best if I tried to sleep it off and had to call in sick at work. Now, having a good five hours extra in bed resting up I feel a little bit better so I’ve ventured out into the world and am going to sit down with some more lemsip to start playing a video game.

I’m not sure what tickles my fancy at the minute. Annie and I are pretty close to finishing Uncharted 4, but I won’t finish that without her. My PC is also now fixed after having a fault with my water pump; thankfully I was able to get it replaced under warranty so I’m probably going to try find something off my backlog to start playing this afternoon.

I’ve been really wanitng to try L.A Nore: The VR Case Files, or Fallout 4 VR, but given I can barely even standup, it’s probably best I give those a miss until I am feeling better.
