The best 10 games to get this Steam sale

For the past few days we’ve released some lists for the best RPG, and indie titles to pick up in the sale, but now as the sale draws to a close, we thought we’d just give you the top 10 games from any genre that you really should be picking up.

Prey – $19.99

Wow, I can’t believe Prey only came out this year, time has flown by, but even still in it’s first year Prey gets a heavy discount (50%). With one of the best stories from 2017, and multiple different endings, and ways for you to play the game, it is a real RPG experience that kept us captivated right until the end. If you like Deus Ex and Bioshock, you will enjoy Prey immensely.

Dark Souls III – $14.99

What an absolute bargain. Potentially the best Dark Souls game, and one of the best games to come out in the past ten years jam-packed full of content. If you enjoyed the rest of the Souls series, III will be a no brainer, but be prepared to die as we found it the hardest game from the series too. It’s just sad that we won’t be seeing any more from the franchise.

Hollow Knight – $9.89

Hollow Knight was one of the best games to come out this year, never mind about just indie games, and with the amount of content available for the low price on sale, you really can’t go wrong with this sort of deal.

Football Manager 2018 – $37.49

Football fanatics will adore any edition of Football Manager – being the latest release chock-full of new features while still keeping what made the previous games great, there is no better place to start learning than here.

Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind – $19.99

Certainly worth playing if you have the time and patience, but perhaps worth waiting till you have the time to properly delve into the world, otherwise the full experience may be lost on you.

SteamWorld Dig 2 – $12.99

The fans of the first game may be miffed at some design choices, but the overall design makes all nitpicks easy to overlook for an enjoyable grind.

Figment – $14.99

Anyone with even a passing interest in adventure puzzle games really should consider picking up Figment. It’s well worth an evening or twos worth of time to play through, and I will for sure be keeping an eye on this developers work in the future. Figment is a truly wonderful game that took me completely by surprise.

DOOM – $14.99

Everything about DOOM oozes badass. From the no-nonsense story, all the way to ripping demons faces apart, the game feels great, looks great, and sounds great. You would be missing out if you didn’t pick up DOOM, even at full price.

Total War: Warhammer II – $53.99

Much more than a sequel or overpriced DLC to Warhammer I, Total War Warhammer II is one of the most stable and enjoyable Total War entries ever.

Grand Theft Auto IV – $23.99

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that GTA V is one of, if not the greatest video game out there today.

So, there is our top 10 games you should definitely be picking up in the 2017 Winter Sale. Let us know if you have any others that people should be picking up too!
