Finally More About The Walking Dead: The Final Season

The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East is only 26 days away. When the official Twitter account for the event announced the scheduling list, Telltale Games took the opportunity to tease what they have planned for their 12:30 timeslot on Friday.

Announced in a Twitter post, the game developer confirms that they’ll be showing a sneak peek of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, the fourth iteration of their most successful interactive story game.

“Well if we’re confirming things…

Catch an early glimpse of The Walking Dead: The Final Season on Friday, April 6 at 12:30pm ET! Be at the Albatross Theatre or tune in on Twitch. More details soon…”

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be their final season in the Walking Dead series. Initially, it was confirmed to exist at the end of season three‘s fifth episode “Into The Gallows.” It also marks the return of Clementine, the discovered child of season one, and protagonist of season two. She returns to the player’s hand in search of an Alvin Jr. Last we heard, the game was expected to release summer of this year.

Their panel at PAX will reveal previously unseen footage of the game. Greg Miller from Kinda Funny and the voice of Clementine Melissa Hutchison will be hosting the event alongside various members of the game’s creative team. The panel will conclude with a giveaway and an audience Q&A.

The Telltale Walking Dead is on many gamer’s list of “best games of all time.” If you don’t having it sitting on your backlog already, you can get it for yourself at the Humble Store.
